Bacteriostatic Water – 10mL

Bacteriostatic Water for Injection (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is a sterile, nonpyrogenic preparation of water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. This 10mL vial is intended for use as a diluent in the reconstitution of lyophilized peptides and other research compounds requiring aqueous suspension.

The 0.9% benzyl alcohol concentration inhibits microbial growth, allowing multiple entries into the vial over a 28-day period while maintaining sterility. This makes bacteriostatic water the preferred reconstitution vehicle for multi-use research preparations where repeated withdrawals from a single vial are required.

Each vial is manufactured under USP-compliant conditions and tested for sterility, particulate matter, pH (4.5-7.0), and benzyl alcohol concentration. Sealed with a rubber stopper and aluminum crimp cap to maintain container closure integrity.

Store at controlled room temperature (20-25°C). Do not freeze. Discard 28 days after initial puncture. Inspect visually for particulate matter or discoloration before each use.
